Neema House

Borodash is proud to once again support Neema House as the primary beneficiary. Neema (pronounced Nāma) is the Swahili word for grace or abundance.  Neema House will be a children’s home where people from the Geita Region of  Tanzania can experience the grace and abundance of God through tangible acts of love and service.

Compassion and Action

Some of the greatest needs are in the gold mining Geita District of northern Tanzania.  Currently no one is working with orphans five years old and younger. Most babies who are nursing and lose their mother to AIDS, malaria, or otherwise, simply do not survive.  Formula is not easily available and costs more than the average Tanzanian could afford.

The mission of Neema House is to provide outreach to orphaned children and broken families in Tanzania, East Africa.

Neema House is a home for young children in crisis.  Calvin Groen and the team at Neema House will provide formula to those infants that lose their mothers, food, clothing, shelter and love for orphans.  They will deliberately maintain and develop a relationship with any extended family these children may have in the hope that many children may be reconciled to their extended families when they become older.
